Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Helper to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance and repair of various systems and equipment, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual with strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to follow schematics and technical drawings. Responsibilities Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities. Help fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements. Support the maintenance team in troubleshooting issues with mechanical systems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory. Participate in residential painting projects as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas. Follow safety protocols while performing tasks to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Experience Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance. Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings for effective troubleshooting. Experience in supervising or leading small teams is a plus. Skills in welding or fabrication are desirable but not mandatory. Previous experience in residential painting is an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt, showcasing strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
