About us Colfax Nursing and Rehab is a nursing facility located in Colfax, La. We provide a variety nursing services for short term and long term residents. Our goal is to provide a safe, caring homelike environment with the highest level of dignity and respect.

Company perks Relaxed atmosphere Safe work environment Our company is seeking a highly motivated individual for the role of Maintenance Person. As the Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs, maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of our commercial spaces according to standards. Your daily responsibilities will consist of safety rounds identifying potential hazards. The tasks are physically demanding, as you will also be unpacking boxes, putting them away and moving furniture. The Maintenance Person must be responsible and committed to delivering a high level of service to our employees. We expect you to be friendly and welcoming to everyone who enters our facility. Ultimately, you should take pride in your work by maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness while ensuring a safe working environment for our employees.
Responsibilities:
Locate, repair and maintain mechanical issues on medical equipment. Test, install, replace and repair various building systems (e.g. plumbing, PTAC units, heating etc.). Change and repair damaged electrical wiring. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to identify future problems. Install new machines and perform routine checks of machinery to ensure they are working properly. Set up work schedules for contractors and third-party vendors who handle maintenance work. Communicate with building occupants regarding maintenance issues in their area of the building. Organize inventory and coordinate stock transfers between warehouses. Order supplies and direct vendors to deliver necessary materials.
