Role:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities to provide a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergency situations, and collaborating with other departments to maintain a smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and furniture Respond to emergency situations, such as electrical outages, water leaks, and environmental hazards Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and dietary, to ensure a smooth operations Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent problems from arising Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs Participate in training and professional development to improve troubleshooting and repair skills
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies as needed Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information How to
