  • Painting, patching, preparing walls in Residents Rooms
  • Updates the MSDS manual and understands all aspects of safe chemical usage, including the appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
  • Comprehends the center's Performance Improvement initiatives and applies new interventions as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
  • Demonstrates the ability to document data in required logs to maintain the department's compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform all tasks assigned in a timely manor with minimal supervision.
  • Responds to emergency maintenance needs in a prompt manor.
  • Maintains and applies updated knowledge of equipment and plant functions.
  • Completes mandatory in-services and competencies.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the rights and dignity of residents, staff, and community and applies this knowledge while on the job.
  • Maintains the confidence of resident information and center information.
  • Maintains open and productive communication systems with peers, families, vendors and other staff members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
