Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Summer Custodial Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, cleaning assigned areas using cleaning products, hand tools, floor buffer, shampooer, and vacuum cleaner. Perform scheduled duties such as sweeping floors, stairways, and washing, waxing, polishing, cleaning, and dusting furniture; emptying waste containers, cleaning and restocking restrooms, washing walls, woodwork, furniture, floors and metalwork. Other responsibilities include sweeping walkways, steps, and removing litter from grounds. Work on heavy clean-up, improvement projects, and all other duties assigned. Summer Grounds Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, assisting with the maintenance of school grounds, roads, and walkways. Must have knowledge of proper use and up keep of landscaping equipment and all other duties as assigned. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
