Job Description

This is a 15 hour per week position that is conducted in-person between Gardner and Winchendon MA. Hours are Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00-2:00 and subject to change as needed.
Responsibilities:
Perform janitorial duties at MVOC headquarters, to include but not be limited to: trash disposal, vacuuming, washing floors, restocking items, cleaning staff and public bathrooms Prep rooms and apartments for new residents, to include painting, furniture assembly, and small repairs as needed Perform landscaping at all 6 MVOC properties (5 in Gardner, 1 in Winchendon) to include, but not be limited to: lawn mowing, weeding, mulching, snow removal Perform basic upkeep tasks at all 6 MVOC properties to include: painting, light and electrical fixture updates, carpet installation, hole filling/patching Ensure laundry payment receptables are monitored and cleared regularly Assist with food pantry stocking, including pick up at the Worcester County Food Bank Assist Facilities Manager with repairs and preventative corrections Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Valid Drivers License required Ability to lift 50-75 pounds Experience with plumbing, electric, and/or carpentry work preferred Veterans status preferred but not required Ability to work and communicate effectively with clients and staff Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Pay:
$19.00 per hour
