Job Description

Maintenance Laborer Compensation ($USD): $19-Hr paid on a bi-weekly basis.
Benefit Highlights:
One (1-HR) sick time for every 30-hours worked. HAP medical for employee only.

Airport Maintenance Worker (AMW). The opportunity to advance to an AMW position is at the sole discretion of the Airport Authority. Candidates will be required to obtain a CDL-A driver's license and DOT medical clearance. Painter (Commercial Driver's License required) Foreperson A Brief Overview The Maintenance Laborer, under the supervision of the Foreman will perform general labor duties at Detroit Metropolitan and Willow Run Airports. The Field Maintenance department is a twenty-four-hour, seven-day operation. Work is generally performed during an eight-hour shift. Laborers may be assigned to work any day, afternoon or midnight shift. This is a full-time, at-will position. What you will do Cleaning vehicles. Sweeping floors. Perform general landscaping tasks including operation of motorized equipment (Push mower, weed whips). Perform general snow removal tasks including operation of motorized equipment (walk behind snow blowers), shovel snow and spread deicer. Operates motor vehicles to assigned work sites and transportation of equipment. Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed. Qualifications High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency Valid Driver's License and a safe, acceptable driving record. Supervisory Responsibilities None - Individual Contributor Under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks only as instructed, subject to regular check of performance. Special Conditions Must maintain the ability to qualify for a security ID badge.
