Responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact in this role Responsible for the application of protective and decorative coats (paint, varnish, lacquer) to all interior and exterior surfaces and property. This also includes preparing surfaces (washing, scraping, sanding) and maintaining existing paint through matching and tinting. Installs, repairs, and maintains drywall, wall texturing, vinyl wall coverings, and ceiling acoustic texturing. Operates and maintains various painting and power equipment, including compressors, spray equipment, sandblasters, and heavy lift equipment (scissors/boom stage up to 80 feet). Must also safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials and follow Standard Precautions using required personal protective equipment. Erects scaffolding and staging as necessary to reach work surfaces. This duty also encompasses creating and applying graphics/signage layouts to comply with DOT, Safety, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Communicates with personnel on work order status and procedures for decision-making and compliance. The role also involves supporting Special Projects, participating in assigned meetings, workshops, and training, and completing other duties as assigned.

Graduate of trade school preferred
Experience:
1+ year relevant experience preferred Other equivalent combination of relevant education or experience. #MFMBM
