Job Description

Temporary Full-Time Maintenance Attendant Chippewa County is accepting applications for a Temporary Full-Time Maintenance Attendant position. Under the supervision of the County Administrator, the Maintenance Attendant performs a variety of duties related to the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of County buildings and grounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Typical duties include, but are not limited to: Cleaning and maintaining County buildings and facilities Maintaining County grounds, including landscaping and lawn care Mowing lawns and trimming along sidewalks and pathways Trimming shrubs and trees Planting and caring for flowers and landscaped areas Snow and ice removal Performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks Assisting with minor repairs to County buildings and equipment Performing a variety of manual labor duties Completing other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Applicants must possess: A high school diploma or GED, or Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job Ability and willingness to work during deer hunting season
Compensation Starting Wage:
$16.78 per hour
