The primary role of the Maintenance Assistant is to assist the Maintenance Manager in a safe manner. Responsible for addressing and implementing fixes for Injection Molding machines, performing Preventative Maintenance tasks, and other duties.

The Role:

Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as required per Lear Prevantative Maintenance Program Purchase parts and order services from approved vendors Check all equipment for proper oil levels Maintain efficient and effective operation of all equipment Maintain and repair, as needed, the physical facility and its support systems Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual safety checks on the facility and equipment Review the scedule maintenance request repairs daily with the Maintenance Manager Cleaning surrounding work areas Complete all duties as assigned by your Manager, Superintendent, or Operations Manager Assist the Maintenance Manager as directed by the Maintenance Manager May be assigned different duties depending on plant needs.

Required Skills:

Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to frequently bend, reach or twist. Ability to frequently lift, transfer at waist height 45 lbs Ability to stand and/or walk long periods of time. Must pass a drug and alcohol screen (including marijuana). Use of various hand and power tools Experience requirements: Medium manufacturing experience is preferred.
