Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise in mechanical systems, landscaping, and general maintenance will help create a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment. Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and landscape upkeep to maintain attractive outdoor spaces. Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for various repair or installation projects. Execute snow plowing, ice removal, and hardscape maintenance during winter months to ensure safe access around the property. Maintain irrigation systems, perform landscaping tasks, and support horticulture activities to promote healthy plant growth. Assist with tree care including pruning, planting, and removal as needed to ensure safety and aesthetic standards. Support general maintenance tasks across the facility including minor construction projects, hardscape repairs, and equipment upkeep. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in building maintenance or landscaping. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and gardening principles. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery safely. Experience with tree care activities such as trimming or planting is preferred. Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticulture practices is a plus. Ability to perform snow plowing operations during winter seasons efficiently. Strong work ethic with the physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
