Job Description

Join a great team of Public Works professionals in Arden Hills! The City is seeking candidates for a Temporary Appointment Public Works Maintenance Worker-Military Leave Replacement. This appointment is for a temporary period (min 12, max 15 months). As a Public Works Maintenance Worker, you will perform intermediate skilled trades work maintaining and repairing City streets, sanitary and storm sewers, water systems, buildings, parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, trails, recreational facilities, vehicles, machinery, various other equipment, and related duties as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under supervision of the Public Works Superintendent, but with high autonomy. This is a non-union position. The City is seeking a start date of June 1, 2026, with the temporary appointment ending upon the return of the military leave employee. A CDL license is not required.
