Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Preventative Maintenance & Production Assistant to support plant and quarry operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring preventative maintenance activities are completed on schedule, maintaining parts inventory, supporting equipment reliability, and assisting with daily production needs. The ideal candidate is organized, mechanically inclined, and a Core Value fit. Our Core Values Team Player, Empowered Optimism, Passion for Excellence, Problem Solver, and Tenacity to Deliver Responsibilities Ensure all Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks are completed according to schedule. Track and document completed maintenance activities. Coordinate PM schedules with operations personnel to minimize downtime. Assist in identifying equipment issues and recommending corrective actions. Maintain inventory of maintenance components, spare parts, and consumables. Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs. Receive, organize, and stock maintenance materials and supplies. Conduct routine inventory counts and maintain accurate records. Assist with daily plant and quarry production activities. Support operators and supervisors in maintaining efficient workflow. Help coordinate maintenance activities around production schedules. Perform general operational tasks as assigned to support production goals. Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of plant and quarry equipment. Assist maintenance personnel with repair projects and equipment improvements. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications 1-3 years of maintenance, manufacturing, construction, quarry, or industrial experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying outdoor and industrial conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
