Job Description

The City of Maple Lake is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the Public Works team as a Maintenance Worker. This position will work on a wide array of tasks including maintenance of parks, streets, buildings, vehicles, and water/sewer lines along with road repairs, snowplowing and mowing. Responsible for monitoring and operating the lift stations and water treatment system. The position is a full-time position requiring 40 hours work per week with a once a month on call/rounds. After hours and weekend work may be required for emergencies, and snow removal operations.
Minimum requirements:
Must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent. One year of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field. Class D driver's license. Live within a 30-minute response time to Maple Lake.
