Maintenance & Facilities Assistant Maintenance & Facilities Assistant Job Type:
Full-time with benefits
Maintenance & Facilities Assistant Job Responsibilities:
Building/Grounds Maintenance Complete and/or coordinate all maintenance tasks With the facilities team ensure that basic necessities such as power, water, heating, and cooling are well maintained & operating With the facilities team ensure facility meets all regulatory guidelines Coordination with housekeeping to maintain and ensure cleanliness of facility according to company policy & procedure. Support security and emergency procedures Help with building projects, renovations, and refurbishments Work as a team with the other grounds or maintenance staff when applicable Ensure quality of work is performed directly, efficiently, and effectively Assist with coordination of contracted services as needed Investigate and evaluate technology enhancements as requested Conduct self in a service orientated, professional manner, that supports the mission, values, and philosophy of NorthStar Regional. Maintain & support a safe work environment for all employees
Qualifications:
Organized, task oriented and self-directed Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team in a positive and cooperative fashion Consent to background check and be cleared by DHS to work within a human services program
Physical Requirements:
This job is physically demanding and may require standing, sitting, lifting, kneeling, crouching for long periods of time. This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds continually, climb ladders, and work in inclement weather conditions, as well as be on call at times.
