Position Summary:

This is a part-time, hourly position. The maintenance department services the Omni Center. Functions include trash collection, floor work, furniture moving, replacing bulbs/filters, ordering supplies, etc. Hours vary but may include work during the evening or weekend.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the building in a clean and orderly manner. Performs minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and minor repairs in buildings.
• Clean-up litter outside on the parking lot
• Facility set-up and breakdown, hauling and moving of tables, chairs and some equipment.

Cleans banquet room, restrooms and common areas including but not limited to dusting, emptying trash receptacles, vacuuming, washing windows and cleaning carpet.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements:

• Knowledge of janitorial equipment, supplies, cleaning chemicals and their applications.
• Previous janitorial and maintenance experience required.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule; evenings and/or weekend hours.
• On-call availability for emergencies.
• Must have own transportation, valid driver's license.
• Must be able to work with Maintenance Supervisor, Administration, Faculty, other Maintenance Staff and Volunteers.

Salary:

Minimum $18.50 to $20.00 /hour Application process: Interested and qualified persons should:
