Applicant must possess a valid Class A CDL with Air Brake endorsement. Responsibilities The job duties for this position include, but are not limited to: Operating the following types of equipment: Tractor or lowboy, Motor Grader, Backhoe, Oil distributor, Box Paver, Hydro-Vac Excavator, Compaction tampers and rollers, Crack Seal machine, skid loaders, mowers (hitch & boom), Excavator, High-lift, and Dozer. Operating a single axle or tandem axle dump truck. Operating small to large sized motor vehicles and a variety of equipment to haul materials and support construction, repair, maintenance, and replacement of County roads. Performing snow removal activities. Mowing along County roads. Assisting with loading, securing, and unloading materials and equipment. Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; referring defects or repairs to supervisor. Receiving special assignments from Road & Bridge Foreman.
