Maintenance Assistant Job Summary:

Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Herculaneum, MO. As a vital member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our healthcare facility, allowing our patients and staff to thrive in a clean and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements of equipment, fixtures, and appliances Conduct daily inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues or concerns Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, stairwells, and public restrooms Assist with snow removal and landscaping as needed Respond to and address any maintenance requests or emergencies in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with regular working hours and on-call rotation
