Job Description

Seville Care Center is looking for a Full-time Maintenance worker. Pay is based on experience.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., 40 hours a week. Hours of work may vary based on business needs. May be called in during emergency situations outside of normal working hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Demonstrate financial viability for the department, to include development, management and accountability of budgets. Develop and facilitate growth within the department, relate professionally and positively to facility and departmental staff and to work cooperatively with others at all levels. Work independently with organizational skills, to prioritize tasks and to exercise judgment consistent with core values. Model effective communications between resident, family, staff, and community. Identify potentially unsafe situations and to respond appropriately. Ensure compliance to State, Federal or County regulations and Camelot policies, procedures, and standards. Manage facility inspections, general maintenance, grounds maintenance, and construction work as needed on all surfaces, interior or exterior of facility and document appropriately. Manage general repairs to facility and resident equipment, or arranges for repair by outside source when required, including all regulated and non-regulated waste removal. Operate numerous hand and power tools, and various machines, such as grounds and maintenance equipment safely. Giving safety walk throughs of the facility to new employees. Perform other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Core Physical Requirements Lifting & Carrying:
Frequently lifting or moving heavy equipment, tools, and parts, often over 50 pounds.
Mobility & Stamina:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.
Dexterity:
High level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate tools and repair small components.
Working Conditions:
Capability to work in confined, cramped, or high spaces (e.g., rooftops).
Endurance:
Ability to work in extreme weather, including high heat or cold, depending on the job site
COMPETENCIES
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Ability to draw conclusions from written or computer-generated materials. Ability to make decisions from limited information. Ability to report information, make public contacts and handle multiple priorities. Ability to make non-routine or unexpected judgments and implement recommendations/plans by coordinating persons and/or other resources.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
