Performs set up and tear down of all equipment for events and assist in the maintenance, repair, and operating needs of the MetraPark facility. To view complete job description, please follow link below: Class Specifications | Event Maintenance Worker-MetraPark (D/E) | Class Spec Details Operates and maintains heavy, medium and light equipment such as fork lifts, trucks, front-end loaders, and bucket truck; Assist in cleaning of entire complex inside and outside which includes buildings facilities and restrooms; Assist in all set-ups and teardowns as required by events; Assist in cleaning and other work required in outside areas in all types of weather; Assist in building repair and equipment repair and related work; Performs building and mechanical maintenance, welding, carpentry, painting, masonry and landscaping tasks; Constructs and dismantles stages, barricades, rodeo arenas, and sports facilities and equipment.

Education/Experience/Training:

Graduation from a High School or G. E. D. and two (2) years' experience in construction trade work, building maintenance, and/or arena/large venue event setup and tear down; or Any equivalent combination of education and experience totaling two (2) years.

Required:

Must pass a criminal and driving background check and meet any County-specific employment eligibility standards.

Special Requirements or Certifications:

Valid driver's license issued by the State of Montana.
