In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and attractive environment through hands-on maintenance, landscaping, and equipment operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and landscaping skills in a fast-paced setting that values teamwork and initiative. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs to plumbing, electrical systems, and building fixtures to ensure operational efficiency. Conduct landscape maintenance such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, pruning shrubs, and planting flowers to enhance outdoor aesthetics. Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other machinery safely and effectively for construction or landscaping projects. Maintain irrigation systems, install new systems, and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper watering of gardens and lawns. Carry out snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways and parking areas clear and safe for all users. Assist with hardscape projects including paving walkways, installing retaining walls, or other outdoor structures. Support tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, or removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in general maintenance or construction environments. Familiarity with landscaping practices including lawn care, gardening, tree trimming, and landscape maintenance. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other equipment safely. Knowledge of irrigation systems and horticulture principles is preferred. Experience with snow plowing or winter maintenance is a plus. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for routine inspections and repairs.
