Job Description
Our Maintenance Guru will be responsible for our historic hotel located in beautiful Three Forks, MT. You can expect 2 days off per week to explore all that Montana has to offer and apply your guru skills the other 5 days with daily room and property maintenance and upkeep. Plumbing, carpentry and electrical background is what we need, as well as an eye for detail. This is a very physical job. We appreciate our team and empower them to make good decisions for the company and property. Micromanaging is not our style if you know your stuff! Housing is available. We are hoping for a November start date. We would prefer a year round commitment but are open to seasonal. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: DAILY ~ Check in with General Manager. Attend morning meeting. ~ Clear walks and ensure all entrances and handicap parking areas are clear, dry, and safe. Monitor throughout shift. ~ Plow parking areas as needed. ~ Morning property walk. Parking areas and grounds should be free of trash, cigarette butts, weeds. Empty trash, pet waste cans and ashtrays. Power wash sidewalks in summer as needed. ~ Visual inspection of exterior including landscaping, siding, roof, lighting. Inform GM of findings and correct items. ~ Visual inspection of interior including hallway condition, breakfast area, lighting, doors. Inform GM of findings and correct items. ~ Regular watering of the lawn in summer. ~ Check maintenance list for new or unfinished items. Repair as necessary. WEEKLY ~ Inspect 3 - 5 rooms per week and complete the Maintenance Inspection Logbook. ~ Perform any repairs identified during inspections. ~ Mow lawn and perform other landscaping needs. ~ Transport recycling to the transfer station ~ Maintain the cleanliness/functionality of the trash storage behind the garage. ~ Shampoo carpets and/or treat stains as needed ~ Clean and organize maintenance shop areas. ~ Check exterior lights and signs after dark and repair or call GM if there is an issue. MONTHLY ~ Clean outside dryer vents of lint ~ Check and maintain all housekeeping vacuums. Clean mechanisms, check belts and change filters as needed, etc.
