Job Description
Overview Maintenance Worker - Job Duties Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities. Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, PTAC AND VTAC, and mechanical issues. Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and ensure reliable operation. Replace or repair fixtures, doors, windows, lights, plumbing components, and other facility items. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and ensure facilities meet safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and properly. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Inspect equipment and facilities for potential hazards, damage, or needed repairs. Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of tools and supplies. Coordinate with contractors and other staff when specialized repairs or services are required. Follow company safety policies, procedures, and applicable building codes. Perform general groundskeeping, painting, cleaning, and other facility-related duties as needed.
