Job Description

Maintenance Helper Ethan Allen Global, Inc. United States, North Carolina, Maiden Jun 08, 2026 Position Summary Entry level position in Maintenance assisting and supporting experienced maintenance personnel in the upkeep and repair of buildings, grounds, plant and production equipment. Performs basic repairs under the guidance of more experienced maintenance personnel for on the job training experience. Position may require some off hours work to complete repairs and projects prior to production operations starting up. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Assist in minor/ basic plumbing carpentry, and electrical repairs, such as unclogging toilets, fixing leaking faucets, and replacing light bulbs. Assist more experienced Maintenance Technicians with facility production and support equipment preventative maintenance and repairs.
Assist with exterior property upkeep, including landscaping, mowing, and seasonal task; such as snow/ice removal. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Certification in all motorized material handling equipment such as forklifts, maintenance carts, and tuggers after training is completed.
Basic understanding of specialized or technical fields in order to operate machinery (with up to 90 days of training required).
Must be able to comprehend basic technical issues and guidance.
Must focus on working safely and adhering to all safety rules for the operation.
May require travel to Claremont NC location.
