We are seeking a motivated, reliable and diligent professional for janitorial and maintenance services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of our premises. Tasks include cleaning duties, waste removal, and basic facilities maintenance. The goal is to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition to ensure a healthy and safe environment for all employees and visitors. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, knowledge of various cleaning products, the ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces, and knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners. Ultimately, a successful candidate will maintain the cleanliness of all church buildings for multiple services and special events. Good time management is a necessity.

Responsibilities:

Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones High and low dusting Empty trash and recycling bins Vacuum, sweep and mop floors Clean and maintain restrooms Washing and clean windows and mirrors

Requirements:

Must have janitorial/custodial experience Must submit to a background check Must have a flexible schedule to suit the needs of the church Must have strong communication skills Must physically be able to climb stairs and ladders Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Management Preferences:

Bilingual in Spanish and English Committed to the Christian Faith Mature in their Christian Faith Strong organizational skills

From $15.00 per hour
