Job Description

REQUIREMENTS
Must speak English well enough to take instructions from supervisor and communicate with fellow employees and customer's employees. Must be physically capable of working on equipment and machinery. Must be able to present at least three job references. Must be able to lift 100 pounds. Must have excellent eye sight and depth perception. Knowledge of metrical and mechanical machine operations, ability to diagnose and correct malfunctions. Must be in sound physical condition and able to perform a physically demanding job. Knowledge of tools Capable of reading measurements
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is primarily performed as a mechanic, working on furnaces and other machinery and equipment, with most work done in the shop. There will be exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, and high noise levels. Will be required to drive occasionally in semi-hazardous conditions.
TASKS AND DUTIES
The Maintenance Technician completes assigned tasks efficiently, reports equipment issues promptly, and provides courteous assistance to customers and staff. They follow all safety and company regulations, perform cleaning as needed, and carry out routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. The technician keeps the Maintenance Manager informed of any concerns and performs additional duties as assigned.
