This role is essential in ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing and other systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of things arond the hotel and infrastructure. A commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer service is paramount. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for equipment monitoring and control. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems accurately. Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks effectively. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests. Execute residential painting projects as required. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various systems. Electrical experience is highly desirable, including familiarity with ohmmeters and other testing equipment. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Familiarity with manufacturing environments is beneficial.
