Role:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, supplies, and facilities.

Your tasks will include:

Performing repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies Testing emergency generators weekly and monthly Inspecting and maintaining the building to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes and laws Coordinating maintenance work with other departments Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, minor carpentry, and repair work Maintaining the grounds and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience Ability to operate various pieces of equipment, including lawn mowers, weed eaters, and pressure washers Effective verbal and written English communication skills Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of staff Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize, coordinate, and simultaneously maintain multiple projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
