As a Maintenance Worker I with our Parks team, you will be performing a variety of tasks to ensure the city parks, athletic fields, and recreational facilities are well-kept and safe for public use including: Mowing, weeding, trimming, and landscaping Assisting with repairs to park structures, benches, and equipment Inspecting and cleaning facilities as well as collecting and disposing of litter/trash Performing event setup and takedown Preparing athletic fields for games Helping with snow removal and providing support to the other Public Works teams as needed Qualifications and skills needed: High school diploma or GED equivalent Possess a valid driver's license Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Strong work ethic, good attitude, and attention to detail Ability to maintain regular and dependable attendance This is a full-time position working Monday
  • Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (Memorial Day to Labor Day) and from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (Labor Day to Memorial Day).
