00 Hourly Location Lincoln, NE Job Type Full time/probationary or status Job Number 202600102C-2 Department Property Management Opening Date 03/11/2026 Closing Date 3/25/2026 11:59 PM Central Description Benefits Questions Job Posting Information This is skilled technical work at the Journeyman level in the maintenance, repair, alteration and construction of County owned buildings. Performs general ground maintenance; operates, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems; performs general carpentry work; maintains, repairs, and installs plumbing fixtures and equipment; and performs painting of interior and exterior of buildings.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from high school or equivalent with vocational/technical school level coursework or training in heating, air conditioning and ventilation repair or a related discipline including carpentry, plumbing, masonry or electrical repair plus two years of experience at the apprentice level in the same maintenance area; or any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills.
Necessary Special Requirements:
Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by the County's insurance carrier.
