Job Description

Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Person to join our current maintenance individual. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible to assist in maintaining proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, both inside and out.
Responsibilities:
– Snow removal (shoveling & plowing) – Carpentry puzzling and implementing – Maple Sugaring duties – Trail maintenance (chain saw, weed whacking, brush chipping, etc. – Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: repairing machinery, and systems; troubleshooting issues; and conducting preventive maintenance. – Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner. – Fabricate or repair building and parts as needed.
Experience:
– Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, "fixing things". – Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude. – Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. – Carpentry skills needed -Valid Drivers License required – Strong problem-solving abilities. – Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
