Job Description
The Maintenance Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the transportation maintenance department by helping ensure the efficient operation of the school bus repair facility. This role coordinates communication between shop managers and executive leadership while maintaining accurate records related to vehicle maintenance and regulatory compliance. The MAA will also process invoices, purchase orders and other departmental paperwork as well as prepare reports and spreadsheets and maintain files related to vehicle inspections, warranties and regulatory compliance. High School diploma or equivalent Experience in administrative support, office management or transportation operations preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) Strong organizational and communication Ability to manage multiple management software or fleet management systems is a plus Knowledge of school transportation or vehicle maintenance terminology is beneficial.
