Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or large surfaces when needed Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly Use custodial tools effectively to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are met consistently Assist with light residential painting or minor repair tasks as required to support facility upkeep Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to promote a secure working environment Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and stripping is advantageous Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties enhances your suitability for this role Familiarity with various cleaning supplies, equipment, and safety procedures is beneficial Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods is essential This energetic role invites motivated individuals who take pride in their work and are eager to contribute to a well-maintained environment.
