• Full-time We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Porter to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the building and its surroundings. This role includes managing the trash compactor, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning the perimeter of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trash Management:

• Operate and maintain the trash compactor, ensuring it's emptied regularly and in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials in designated areas.

• Cleaning Duties:

• Perform routine mopping and vacuuming of common areas, hallways, restrooms, and other designated spaces.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and furnishings as needed.

• Exterior Maintenance:

• Regularly clean and maintain the perimeter of the building, including sidewalks, entrances, and parking areas.
• Remove litter and debris to ensure a neat and welcoming environment.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Follow safety procedures and protocols while performing cleaning tasks.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

• Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a clean and well-maintained property.
• Assist in other related tasks as needed to support the overall maintenance team.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean environment.
• Good communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and performing physical tasks for extended periods.

Pay:

$17.00
