Do you enjoy working independently, staying active, and making a difference in your community? Join us as a Rest Area Worker—where your efforts help provide a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for travelers passing through our beautiful state.
What You'll Do:
Under supervision and with clear direction, you'll help maintain the cleanliness and safety of the rest area in line with our state contract. No two days are quite the same!
Your responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and restocking restrooms (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) Maintaining the cleanliness of all buildings and grounds Assisting the public when needed with a friendly, helpful attitude Reporting any maintenance issues to your supervisor Following your daily schedule and attending team meetings Pitching in on special projects when assigned Communicating openly and respectfully with your supervisor and co-workers
What You Bring:
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working outdoors and staying active throughout the day A High School diploma or GED A valid state-issued ID Must pass a background check and driver's license record check Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required Perks of the
