You will be responsible for ensuring that landscapes are healthy, attractive, and safe, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of commercial or residential properties. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep turf healthy and vibrant Maintain landscapes by planting, pruning, trimming trees, shrubs, and flowers with precision and care Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools including trimmers and blowers to execute daily tasks efficiently Use landscaping equipment like excavators and other machinery for site preparation or hardscape installation Conduct irrigation system inspections and repairs to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns Assist with snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible Support construction projects involving hardscape features such as patios or walkways by preparing sites and installing materials Qualifications Basic mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping tools and small machinery safely Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and weed control Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, planting, soil preparation, and irrigation systems Familiarity with landscaping equipment like hand tools, power tools, excavators, and snow plows Strong understanding of horticulture principles related to plant health and tree care Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions Prior experience in construction or hardscape projects is a plus but not required
