Seasonal Maintenance Worker Adirondack League Club - Bisby Lodge Overview Private Adirondack lodge located in Old Forge, NY, looking for a detail-oriented and responsible caretaker to join our team. Maintenance employees are responsible for daily, weekly, and seasonal routine tasks. Daily tasks include but are not limited to; yard work, firewood, garbage removal, and repairs. Assisting with Saturday night picnics is required. The Bisby campus is comprised of numerous buildings which are in constant need of preventative maintenance and upkeep. Must demonstrate strong time management, the ability to work effectively as part of a team and possess a valid driver's license. Lodging is available. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems Assist with residential painting projects within the facility or on-site properties Ability to identify and diagnose minor maintenance issues Handyman skills for performing basic repairs Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential problems proactively Good communication skills to interact with property renters and report issues to management Ability to work independently Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks like lifting (up to 50lbs), bending, and climbing ladders Possess a valid driver's license Previous experience in property maintenance or related field preferred This Seasonal Maintenance Worker role is essential for maintaining the safety, efficiency, and appearance of our facilities during busy periods.
