Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Floating Porter / Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operations of 5 residential properties. This role is primarily focused on porter and groundskeeping responsibilities, with basic maintenance knowledge required to assist with repairs and participate in an on-call rotation for maintenance emergencies. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping communities clean and well-maintained, works well independently, and is comfortable traveling between multiple properties throughout the workweek. Travel is required, as properties are located across multiple counties; you can expect to work at different locations on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, amenities, grounds, and building exteriors Perform daily property walks to ensure curb appeal and overall cleanliness standards are met Assist with trash removal, dumpster areas, and general groundskeeping duties Support unit turns including trash-outs, cleaning, painting touch-ups, and minor repairs Complete basic maintenance tasks and assist with work orders as needed Identify and address maintenance concerns or safety issues during property upkeep Help ensure all properties remain safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance emergenciesQualifications:
Prior porter, groundskeeping, or residential maintenance experience required Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be detail oriented Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day Must be available for scheduled on-call emergency responseSchedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday Participation in an on-call rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays: on-call bonus includedPay:
