In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities and outdoor spaces. Your proactive approach will help maintain a well-functioning environment by performing a variety of maintenance tasks, landscape care, and equipment operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the cleanliness, safety, and beauty of our property while developing your skills across multiple trades. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance tasks including repairs, inspections, and troubleshooting of building systems and equipment Conduct landscaping activities such as mowing, lawn care, tree trimming, gardening, and landscape maintenance to enhance outdoor aesthetics Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators for construction or hardscape projects Maintain irrigation systems and implement seasonal snow plowing to ensure year-round accessibility and safety Assist with tree care including pruning, planting, and removal to promote healthy growth and safety Support horticulture efforts by planting new greenery, maintaining flower beds, and managing garden areas Execute general upkeep tasks such as cleaning gutters, painting touch-ups, and replacing fixtures to uphold facility standards Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools effectively Familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, and gardening practices Ability to operate equipment such as excavators or other construction machinery is a plus Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming and pruning Experience with irrigation systems management and snow plowing operations preferred Strong understanding of maintenance procedures across various trades including landscaping and hardscape projects Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Join us if you're passionate about maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and ensuring our facilities are safe and functional!
