HDM Hydraulics is seeking a motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team. Assist with the completion of repairs to CNC machines and all other industrial equipment during our second shift to reduce machine downtime.

Maintenance assistant job duties include:

Complete work orders as assigned. Assist in preventative maintenance of the building.

• Assist with repairing and maintaining plant machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Responding to maintenance issues throughout the plant.
• Assist repairing, installing, adjusting/aligning, and testing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools and various test equipment; to include but not limited to shafts, sprockets, bearings, fans, cylinders (pneumatic and hydraulic), valves, belts, pulleys, seals, fasteners, chains, drives, gearboxes, pumps, PLC, Control boards, Drive motors, etc.
• Operating hoisting and lift devices, man lifts, forklifts and other support equipment as required.

Perform cleaning duties, cleans floors, mopping, emptying trash etc. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Works in a safe manner and recognizes unsafe situations. Perform other duties associated with the support of the facility and its operations as assigned.

Maintenance assistant qualifications:

Must have basic maintenance knowledge including painting, plumbing, etc. Must have two (2) years of maintenance related employment.

• Experience performing predictive and preventative maintenance
• Computer skills for record-keeping and documentation functions.
• A minimum of two (2) years of maintenance mechanic experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
