Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Assistant to support the ongoing upkeep and functionality of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical experience, and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe, well-maintained environment while developing skills in facilities management within a healthcare setting. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems throughout the facility. Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively. Operate tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults. Conduct welding and residential painting as needed to maintain building aesthetics and safety standards. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including HVAC, lighting, and general building upkeep. Support manufacturing or equipment-related maintenance activities when required. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with small projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards. Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical systems, welding, and mechanical repairs.
