Billinson Tully, NY Job Details Full-time | Contract $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Tools provided Qualifications Landscape maintenance Residential painting Outdoor work Construction painting Driving Full Job Description Skilled Weekend Property Assistant - Otisco Area (Year-Round, Long-Term) I'm looking for a reliable, hands-on individual to assist with ongoing weekend work on a large private property in the Otisco, NY area (southern Onondaga County, ~25 minutes south of Syracuse). This is not seasonal — if you're dependable and capable, there will be work year-round, including indoor projects during the winter. This is ideal for someone local who enjoys working with their hands, knows how to troubleshoot, and takes pride in quality work. I'm fair, easy to work with, pay weekly, and have had several workers stay with me for many years.
Tasks May Include:
  • Carpentry (framing, siding, small jobs)
  • Landscaping
  • Painting and staining (fences, siding, trim, etc.)
  • Light concrete work (driveway pours, footers, pads)
  • Basic plumbing
  • Mechanical repairs (Ford 8N tractor restoration, small engine maintenance)
  • Electrical prep (running conduit/wire under guidance — licensed electrician handles main service work)
Job Details:
  • When:
  • Saturdays and/or Sundays (flexible)
  • Where:
  • Otisco area — southern Onondaga County residents strongly preferred
  • Pay:
  • $20-$25/hr depending on experience
  • Tools:
  • All tools provided, though you're welcome to bring your own
Requirements:
  • Reliable transportation (especially for winter driving)
  • Physically capable of outdoor and shop work
  • Able to work independently, follow directions, and show up on time
  • Prefer someone experienced — semi-retired tradesperson, contractor, or handy individual with mechanical know-how
