school campus. The ideal candidate is highly dependable, committed to on-site support for general facility operations, and able to provide cleaning services to the highest standard with a qualified, skilled team. A qualified candidate will have experience in school and/or commercial cleaning. Duties and Responsibilities The School Facilities Technician's essential duties and responsibilities are as follows: Work with site-based personnel to ensure daily cleaning tasks are performed. Maintain and use janitorial equipment safely and properly, following instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Clean and sanitize restrooms. Dust and clean hard surfaces. Vacuum, sweep, mop floors - including stairs, hallways, and commons areas. Clean and vacuum carpets. Empty all trash receptacles, replace liners, and place trash in the dumpster. Wipe down doors and clean glass if applicable. Respond to calls for facilities emergency and on-call situations as directed. Support laundry facility function. Periodic special facility team projects. Restock supplies. Performs other functions as assigned to ensure effective, safe, and smooth school operations. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities janitorial solutions, preferably in an educational and/or commercial setting. Keen eye for detail. Ability to self-manage and work independently, while performing each essential duty beyond satisfaction. Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations. Commitment to completing work daily to support customer operations. Great attitude and energetic approach to customer service. Compensation, Benefits and Hiring Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
