The Avenue Care and Rehabilitation is a post-hospital rehabilitation and skilled nursing care facility offering a distinctive experience not commonly found in traditional care settings. With a hotel-like atmosphere and all-private suites, our environment is designed to promote comfort, dignity, and healing. We are proud to provide some of the area's highest levels of rehabilitation, nursing, and medical support for individuals transitioning from hospital to home. Our team is dedicated to delivering compassionate physical, medical, emotional, and spiritual care in a respectful and uplifting setting. We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and running smoothly. Job Duties:
Assist with facility maintenance and repair tasks Follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety protocols Operate and maintain equipment safely Report repair needs and supply shortages to supervisor Maintain documentation and safety logs Support infection control and waste disposal procedures Participate in safety drills and uphold Resident Rights policies
Qualifications:
High school diploma preferred Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions Comfortable working in a team and interacting with residents Help us keep our facility safe and welcoming—apply today!
