This position is responsible for maintaining the hotel's appearance, functionality, and safety while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of performing a variety of preventative maintenance, repairs, and property upkeep tasks in accordance with Hilton brand standards. Essential Responsibilities Perform daily preventive maintenance and routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical issues. Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, batteries, air filters, and other building components as needed. Repair doors, locks, furniture, fixtures, and paint surfaces. Maintain the hotel pool and spa area Ensure all life safety equipment, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, and exit signs are functioning properly. Assist with guest requests involving maintenance issues while providing friendly and professional customer service. Keep maintenance shop organized and maintain adequate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. Perform exterior maintenance including parking lot inspections, trash removal, pressure washing, landscaping, and seasonal flower care. Assist with snow removal, salting walkways, and ice prevention during winter weather. Support room renovations, furniture assembly, and special property improvement projects. Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk departments to prioritize out-of-order rooms and guest concerns. Follow all OSHA, hotel safety, and company policies and procedures. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations when scheduled. Qualifications Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Valid driver's license preferred. Preferred Skills Preventive maintenance planning. Guest room maintenance and repair. Basic HVAC troubleshooting. Pool maintenance experience (preferred but not required).
