Job Description
Maintenance Apprentice - Lubrication Track Die Casting Facility | Hands-On Path to Skilled Trades Ready to learn real industrial maintenance? Join us as a Maintenance Apprentice focused on industrial lubrication in a die casting plant. Work under close supervision while building skills in lubrication, mechanical systems, basic electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance. What You'll Do Assist with inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and basic troubleshooting. Run lubrication routes on HPDC machines, dies, shot ends, toggles, furnaces, trim presses, and auxiliaries. Lubricate high-load points (toggle pins, platen ways, bushings, ejectors, shot sleeves, etc.) with the correct EP and high-temp greases/oils. Service automatic lube systems, top off reservoirs, change filters, and spot leaks or problems. Learn and follow lockout/tagout, molten-metal, and all site safety rules. Use tools, replace simple components, keep areas clean, and document work. Attend required classes and apprenticeship training. Duties expand as you grow.
