To assist as directed in maintaining the physical environment of exterior and interior of properties/buildings, vehicles, varied systems, and equipment owned by Filling Homes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining all in-house equipment in a safe and functioning manner. Assist in maintaining all buildings and structures in a safe condition. Responsible for use and care of all maintenance equipment and supplies. Assist to maintain facility vehicles per established schedule. Complete scheduled maintenance programs as assigned. Assist to assure the facility is compliant with Life Safety Codes. Assist to assure Filling Home properties meet required state and local standards. Instruct employees on emergency and evacuation procedures. Assist with training on Fire safety and Emergency Response to include Emergency Response Drills i.e. fire and tornado drills Assist in an "on-call" status for emergency situations occurring after normal working hours. Understand job requires lifting and being on his/her feet the majority of the work day.
Qualifications:
Must have High School Diploma or GED. Ability to follow oral and written directions. Must have good communication comprehension and writing skills. Knowledge of welding, plumbing, electrical, small engine repair, woodworking, carpentry and basic automotive repair skills. Ability to plan work schedules. Must be able to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality of information
