Job Description

Job Overview Victory Park Ohio is looking for a dependable, hands-on Assistant Operations Supervisor to join our team! This position plays an important role in keeping our 60+ acre sports and entertainment facility clean, safe, well-maintained, and ready for tournaments, leagues, concerts, festivals, and other events. Responsibilities Assist the Operations Manager with the daily operations of the maintenance department Help oversee the upkeep of athletic fields, turf areas, landscaping, buildings, restrooms, and common areas Perform routine maintenance, repairs, painting, cleaning, and general facility upkeep Assist with field preparation and maintenance for baseball, softball, soccer, and other sporting events Operate and maintain various tools, equipment, vehicles, and machinery Assist with setup and teardown for tournaments, concerts, festivals, and special events Identify maintenance issues and help ensure they are addressed promptly Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, athletes, staff, and vendors Assist with scheduling and directing maintenance staff as needed Monitor supplies, tools, and equipment and communicate when replacements or repairs are needed Support snow removal, grounds maintenance, and seasonal facility preparation Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or management Qualifications Previous experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, landscaping, construction, or a related field preferred Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Ability to operate maintenance equipment and power tools safely Ability to work independently while also being a team player Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a high-quality facility Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull as required for the position Valid driver's license required Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
