The City of Wapakoneta is seeking a Maintenance Worker I or II in our Water Reclamation Department! How to

Required Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age Must hold a valid Driver's License CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement prior to start date
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous sewer collection experience Collections license
Job Duties:
Under the supervision of the Water Reclamation Superintendent, oversees work activities of Maintenance Workers and Laborers in the performance of sewer maintenance duties (e.g., assigns and reviews work, trains employees, provides direction and assistance as needed, ensures compliance with safety practices and procedures, etc.). Operates a variety of light to heavy equipment (e.g., sewer-jet truck, dump truck, front-end loader, grader, backhoe, etc.) in the performance of sewer maintenance and repair. Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles; may fabricate parts for repairs. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. Meets all job and safety requirements and all applicable OSHA safety standards that pertain to essential functions.
Salary and Benefits:
