Job Description

Assistant Clubhouse Maintenance Position Summary The Assistant Clubhouse Maintenance team member supports the Facilities Manager in maintaining the clubhouse and surrounding grounds. This role helps ensure facilities, fixtures, and systems operate safely, efficiently, and to the standards expected by members and guests. This role reports to the Maintenance Director. Key Responsibilities Perform routine repairs including drywall patching, painting, changing light bulbs, basic plumbing, carpentry, and minor repairs. Complete preventative maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Maintain clubhouse areas, locker rooms, dining areas, patios, and other facilities in excellent condition. Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests. Assist with event setup and teardown, including furniture, audiovisual equipment, and lighting. Empty linen hampers, load and operate industrial washers and dryers, fold and store linen by type and take periodic linen inventory. Provide seasonal grounds and pool support as needed. Refill propane tanks as needed.
Snow removal:
ensure all decks, stair wells, walks and entry ways are free and clean of snow and ice during winter months. Promote an operational plan for implementation of snow removal. Qualifications 1-3 years of building maintenance, handyman, or trade experience preferred. Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting tasks. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work for extended periods. Flexible availability including weekends, mornings, and holidays. Ability to respond to emergencies at any time. Why join our team?
